Pay Equity the Law in California — coming to your state soon?

California has expanded the concept of equal pay for equal work to equal pay for substantially similar work.  What does this mean?  In our reading, it is clear that introducing pay equity in your compensation program is not just a “best practice,” because at least in California, it appears to be the law.  Expect other states to follow.  Read more here.
